Meet the Staff

 Bob blends entrepreneurial leadership with a deep background in environmental science to guide the strategic vision of the board. He is the co-founder of 3pointO, LLC, a successful business management consulting firm. A specialist in data-driven environmental solutions, Bob holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies (Remote Sensing) from the University of Kansas, and Master’s Certificates in Imaging Spectroscopy from the University of Colorado and Data Analytics from Michigan State University. 

  As a long-standing GIS professional at both Esri, Inc. and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Leslie spent much of her career supporting impactful geospatial solutions across a wide range of environmental, emergency, and coastal programs.   As an outdoor enthusiast, she envisions EkoSight as a way to remain engaged with geospatial technology while empowering environmental and conservancy groups to implement modern mapping techniques within their organizations.  

Kurt founded EkoSight to "give back" after 40 years as a geospatial remote sensing professional. His career at ERDAS and Esri was spent pushing the bounds of imagery, lidar, and drone‑based mapping. An expedition kayaker and lifelong explorer of wild places, he was inspired by the Chesapeake Conservancy’s groundbreaking effort to map the land cover of the entire Chesapeake Bay watershed — a model for how high‑resolution imagery can empower conservation at scale.
